Initial Sound Boards are corresponding object letter boards which allow the child an opportunity to experience the letter in a multi sensory way and to form a meaningful association of object, sound and symbol. Using executive function skills, a child matches the three dimensional object to the picture and says the object’s name and the sound it starts with. The child then traces the sandpaper letter saying the initial sound again and finally matches the moveable alphabet letter on top of the sandpaper letter. Perfect for toddler and young child’s hands. All 26 letters of the alphabet are available. Objects may vary due to availability. Buy the entire set or several. A hand crafted handled tray is SOLD OUT and not available at this time. We will update when more trays are available.
