The International Montessori Congress was a great opportunity to hear wonderful presentations, keynotes and net working. Thank you Portland! I was excited to also sell our Native American Historic Replica Games to Finland and England!
The International Montessori Council conference in Sarasota in November was fantastic as always! The inspiring keynotes and workshops with information that you can use right away back at school, the fantastic networking and support amongst the International Community and we had wonderful sales!

I was lucky enough to have lived in Portland a couple of times in my life and stayed with family there while taking my Montessori training at MEIPN 26 years ago! Since that time, I continue to teach in a primary Montessori classroom and am the administrator of a Montessori School in Wisconsin- Rock Prairie Montessori School. I also have this business with my family and so look forward to attending and connecting with so many other Montessorians familiar and new!

I was just thrilled with the hospitality and welcome of the PNMA, Geiger Montessori School and all the Montessorians I met on the weekend of May 4th. The weather was beautiful and it reminded me of why I love the Northwest. I remembered taking my Montessori training at MEIPN 25 years ago! Geiger Montessori School is a site to behold! Such a lovely school so well suited for Montessori. Thank you Paula Bond for the welcome and staff. Thank you Dee Hirsch for the invite to come to Seattle and the sales were fantastic!

It was wonderful to hear Julia Volkman as the keynote speaker at the annual WMA conference. There wasn’t vending, but much time to network and attend sessions. It was nice to see many RPMS staff attend, Ms. Tajali present her peace songs and dances and hear all the great progress of Montessori education in the state of Wisconsin. I was elected Secretary of the WMA board so that is an honor. I am looking forward to getting the word out about the Native American Games and Wisconsin’s requirement to study our native cultures. (It was a treat to see my sister too!)

I am very excited to attend and be a vendor at the AMS Conference in Orlando March 14-17th. My good friend Nancy will attend with me, ready for new ideas and inspiration for Montessorians. Also Ms. Tracey will be there so that will be fun. I will be also selling at Booth #520. I look foward to meeting new friends and fellow teachers/administrators. We learn so much from each other! Naturalist in a Box and Native American Games at booth #520!

Always a nice conference at Near North Montessori and a treat to connect again with former colleagues, other administrators and vendors. Dr. S of School Cues and I always have such rich discussions about communication with families. I met Linda Bechtle of Midwest Institute for Native American Studies and was thrilled she purchased a set of the games to use with her presentations and a Beaver Naturalist in a Box! Montessori Academy of Chicago also purchased the Native American Games to use with their staff and children.I can’t wait to hear how they like them. As always the sessions were excellent. It was good to hear Anna Perry speak of the Common Core Montessori Alignment that I worked on with Ms. Kris a couple of years ago. And seeing Jonathan Wolfe speak about collaborative leadership is always inspiring.
